Spring calls for a stroll through the blossoming apple orchards and breath-taking landscapes – a very special way to explore Foiana.
Summer
Rent one of our e-mountainbikes and explore the low mountain range of Tesimo in a whole different, exciting way – a great way to keep fit on holiday!
Autumn
Our house is the ideal starting point for beautiful autumn hikes. Stroll through the colourful forests and experience the Merano countryside in its golden autumn dress.
Winter
Visit the yearly Sterntaler Christmas market in Lana. Treat yourself to the sweet scent of Christmas, discover the unique local craftsmanship and sip on a hot cup of mulled wine.
Enjoy wine
Discover the idyllic wine region around Foiana, where viticulture has been a tradition since Roman times. Enjoy our typical wines – like the Vernatsch and Blauburgunder – and take a tour of the vineyards and wine cellars.
Forts and castles
The area surrounding our house is scattered with churches, chapels, monasteries, castles and ruins. We recommend visiting the Lebenberg castle in Cermes and the parish church in Lana di Sotto, which has the biggest Gothic altar in the Alps.
On two wheels
If you like riding bikes, you can use the bike transfer shuttle service that connects Lana, Foiana, Tesimo and the Palade Pass.
